    Regulatory review is alive and well in DC. On Monday, 24 Sept, Scott Jacobs was happy to attend the 25th anniversary of Executive Order 12866, signed by Clinton, based on Reagan’s original EO in 1981. The big message: OIRA’s regulatory review is now seen by Republicans and Democrats as a great advance in governance, after many years of conflict and debate.

    The conference was hosted by the George Washington University Regulatory Studies Center, whose head is Susan Dudley.
